This winter seems to be never ending and I for one am dreaming of and counting down to beach days! The beach is my favorite place. There is something about it that just relaxes me. It is also one of my favorite places to take photos and where I have captured some of my favorite photos of my own kids. This is what sparked the Documentary Beach Photo Session. Want to know more about the session and why they are my favorite?
Relaxed and Natural
At a regular family session, you are usually stressed making sure everyone looks their best and hoping everyone will behave. At a Documentary Beach Session, you are spending time with your family at the beach enjoying the day. No poses, no formal portraits, just your family, the sun, the sand and the surf.
On vacation, someone is usually taking the photos and that leaves little opportunities to get everyone together or get Mom (because that’s usually who’s snapping away!) in the photos too. This session gives you the time to just be with and enjoy your family. And show your kids years from now, you were there too! They want those memories of you.
Your Life As Art
The day to day of life can be crazy and chaotic and feel messy. But that messy phase of life is also beautiful. And there is no better place to show your life as art than the beach.
I spend about 90 minutes at the beach with your family documenting your time enjoying the sand, sun and ocean. There are no formal portraits or poses as I am more of a friend hanging out and capturing your family. Session fee and a minimum of 60 hi resolution images provided via download through an online gallery is $600 plus sales tax. Sessions generally occur on a week day.
